Can We Count on You?

As you know, the 2018 Arizona legislative session convened Monday, January 8.  Leading up to this session, we’ve been working diligently with your legislators on bills to support your right to keep and bear arms, and further expanding your state’s award winning gun laws.

However, while legislation is typically filed after the session begins in early January, your anti-rights legislators have already pre-filed legislation that attempts to change the face of our state’s gun freedoms, including bills to require background checks on any and all private transfers of firearms, as well as outlawing 'bump stocks.’

It’s important to understand, though, that victory or failure of these is largely contingent on your continued involvement. Our government works best when we all participate and it’s imperative that you call your legislators and let them know what your right to keep and bear arms means to you.  To keep up to date on all the goings-on at 1700 W. Washington St., we’ve included a great resource for you at our Legislative Action Center.  This session is going to be another battle of attrition in our fight to keep your rights intact.  Can we count on you?
